World Book Day
We celebrated World Book Day 2026 on Thursday 5th March.
This year's theme was "Go All In". The theme emphasizes diving deeper into personal interests—such as sports, animals, or gaming—through books, encouraging creativity in costume choices and visiting your local libraries and book shops.
- All pupils (and staff!) were invited to dress up as their favourite book character. Everyone was also encouraged to bring in their favourite book to show their classmates and chat about their favourite books and characters.
- Each pupil received either a €1.50 book token or a World Book Day book. The tokens can be exchanged in many book shops (including Eason) for a free book. For more information on the books available check out the World Book Day website.
