We had a really enjoyable workshop with Illyana in the library experimenting with vinegar and milk to make a bioplastic which we learned is more environmentally friendly form of plastic that can be used to make to make many things like buttons and beads. We tested different amounts of the formula poured through a filter paper and moulded and left to dry. We learned that experimenting is about trial and error and had good fun adding food colouring to make different colours of bioplastics.
