We visited Collins Barracks to help learn more about the Great War and the where the Easter Rising began. Our guide Tola, showed us many artefacts like medals, tanks, weapons, letters, items from the Luisitania, uniforms, videos and told us stories of people who fought in the war and the Rising. We tried on military uniforms and got a good idea of what life as a soldier was like. We had a very fun and informative visit learning lots of history.
