Scoil Ide celebrated Biodiversity Day with activities across the whole school. Our infants searched for minibeasts in the orchard in the yard, 1st classes searched in the green area in front of the convent, 3rd and 5th classes identified trees with a scavenger hunt in the park by the leisure centre and 2nd, 4th and 6th classes did a great workshop with ranger Gerry in Corkagh Park. It was a busy and active day learning about what biodiversity is and why it needs to be protected. Well done to all classes.🌼🌱🐛🐞🌷
