In room 8 we looked at recreating water wheels, like the one we saw in Martry Mill recently. Groups were challenged to use paper plates, plastic spoons and bamboo skewers to make a wheel that would spin when we pour a current of water on it. We had good fun and discovered that experimenting is all about making changes and adjustments to the design until you have success!
