Ray D'Arcy paid a visit to Scoil Naomh Íde in Clondalkin on Friday 30th June where children were celebrating The Daily Mile on the last day of the school term. Rising Star - singer/songwriter Sina Theil - performed The Daily Mile song - composed by Jack Plunkett and Professor Niall Moyna from DCU School of Health was also present to give his support for The Daily Mile. "It was a wonderful occasion at the school that was greatly enjoyed by the teachers and children." School Principal Catherine Keane said. "The Daily Mile- promoted by Athletics Ireland- is very popular at Scoil Naomh Íde and we were delighted to welcome special guests- Ray D'Arcy and Niall Moyna to the school." "We also wish to thank Frank Greally from Athletics Ireland for choosing our school for this special celebration of The Daily Mile."
