Today we honoured St Ita, the special saint of our school. Scoil Íde is named after St Ita. St Ita did as Jesus said. She took care of the people who were suffering, she shared food with them and she helped heal the sick and the poor. We had a short service today where the 5th and 6th class children read aloud the story of St Ita to the whole school. We came together and sang songs to commemorate this special day.
