This week, 14th-17th November, is Science Week. In 6th class we have been conducting a variety of experiments and investigations.
Monday: We explored refraction and how it causes images to flip.
Tuesday: We investigated the phrase "What Lives on Us". We are looking at how germs are affected by washing our hands.
Wednesday: We made balloon cars to explore how force acts on objects
Thursday: We made our own volcano using vinegar, washing up liquid and baking soda. We investigated what happens when a chemical reaction occurs.
Friday: We explored colour mixing through a delicious skittles experiment.
